cuti Maal Hijrah yg lalu...

Salam Maal Hijrah 1432.

erm...Awal Muharram fall on the mid-weekdays this year..so i didn't plan to go back to kampung nor do anything. just want to lepak2 with my hosmet then come out with something whenever we feel like doing something.

..until anne said that there's some masak2 plan planned 2-days before the cuti with khalil and zul. huh? masak2? with them? hmmmm~

i told anne that i'm not quite agree (or maybe don't quite comfortable?) with the plan. (should they go without me? aioppppp...!!! hehehe..) so anne have the plan cancelled. but then, since there's already a 'plan' made for that day..seemingly canceling a plan and not making another is not that ok..so me & anne did a bit brainstorming.. (sounds gigih~)..then i mentioned penang and anne straight away sees it as a very 'potential' thing-to-do. so..she acted as event manager and do her thing! :p

On the day, zul & khalil datang kuala sungai ntuk amik anne & i. memula tuh, kitaorg g bfast luk kat kopi kampung.. all having nasi lemak..then shoot to penang. fuh~ sepanjang2 jalan atas highway tuh mmg hujan je..lebat lak tu..masing2 berfikir..adakah trip kali nie a waste..hmmm~ thankfully.. hujan bersidang lepas sungai 2 dan bila masuk jambatan penang. so.. we're quite happy and directly drive to...

1st destination: Bukit Bendera.

Dapat signboard je lah kan... hmm~

Anne soooo wanted and soooo excited to go to this place only, dari kejauhan pon dah leh nampak tempat nie still under renovation/construction.. hmmm~ and we all saw the 'CLOSE' sign..sigh~ (just like it was the last time i got there on last feb) what to do..next destination je lah...

the next place we saw on the signboard (yup..we only follow the signboard..no plan made in advance to go to bt bendera!) : Botanical Garden

It is open. the admission is free.. then anne pay for the train so we get on the train and have a trip around the taman.. it was.. (sorry to say) as lame as i experienced last time i got here..huhu~~suma jenis garden yg mcm tempat orkid ke..paku pakis ke suma pon under maintenance (seemingly forever and ever maintaining je keje...huhu). then of kos..tempat nie mmg byk monyet yg berlegar2 dan bermain2. still i am all excited with canon-ball tree (i think that's the name).

next destination: Taman Rama-rama..

this place is located in Teluk Bahang. so the perjalanan is a bit jauh from the last destination. then on the way... i showed them the toy museum that syarul mentioned during our seminar last week.. another suggestions on where to go next along with makan2 pasembor kat gurney drive.. from tg bungah to batu ferigghi to teluk bahang..we all just enjoy the ride and the view of sea along the way...

:) i must say i like butterfly farm. have i been into 1? i don't quite remember.. but i do remember this one conversation i had with mak about butterfly farm.. "taman rama2..byk rama2 lah..~ then rama2 akan hinggap2 kat kita.." owh~ kalu hinggap2 mesti rasa comel je.. rama2 kan slalu hinggap kat bunga? (huhuhu~ bengong punya fikiran!)

the admission fee = rm10 provided you have mykad lah.. or else kena pay double. the place is not that big.. dan jalan2 dlm tuh, ada byk jugak lah menda..rama2, scorpion, ulat gongok..tok'kei..iguana..kura2 besar.. beetle.. lizards.. frog.. pendek kata suma jenis adik beradik insects lah.. owh..ikan pon ada jugak. then ada mcm theatre sket utk tayangan video.. i like the Theme Room - dia letak gambar2 insects yg mcm close-up gitu..sangat comel. then at insectarium/ insect museum where they show all the camouflage insects..nie pun aku suka..sbb suma binatang dlm tuh menyerupai pokok, daun, kayu, bunga.. bz mencari menda yg 'hilang'..huhu~paling ske katak yg sama sejibik mcm daun kering and orchid mantis yg mmg mcm bunga orkid. comel!

pastu..perut pun lapar.. singgah Khaleel (owh..inie bukan nama salah sorg ahli rombongan) untuk pekena nasi kandar.

bila dah kenyang..mata pon kuyu.. even singgah next destination pon mau tak mau je masuk. last2..bayar jugak rm10 to experience Toy Museum

ok. i have to admit..aku biasa2 je dgn toys nie.. tambah pulak time masuk2 tuh kelam je tempat nie.. tp mmg banyak sgt toys yg mcm collectibles tuh.. Suma pon ialah characters dari movies yg glamer2..katun, adventures, horrors, superheroes++ e.g nightmare b4 christmas, chucky, spiderman, fantastic four, pokemon, doraemon, shrek, lilo & stitch ironman, kiss, harry potter, capt jack sparrow..lord of the ring & byk2 lagi lah.. (got the idea,right?) tp..paling byk star wars lah kot (hu..aku tak kenal plak..) aku just enjoy je la museum tuh. dan bila tgk characters yg mcm kenal jugak tuh excited lah jugak. (tp tak leh lawan kot sorg kwn yg sgt2 excited tuh..huhu~) owh..even britney spears & christina aguilera punya patung pun ada.

Oleh kerana perut masih full.. plan nak singgah pekena pasembor kat gurney drive/padang kota cancel. khalil mcm nak lepak2 tepi pantai.. (dan dok sebut2 jugak avenue 1st..huhu~) tp last2 gi lepak2 je kat Queensbay. tp tak masuk pon dlm shopping mall..kitaorg park keta tepi jalan dan lepak2 tepi laut sambil makan rojak & kacang yg anne sponsor. bila rojak dah habis..kacang pon dah licin..masing2 pon dah ngantuk (aku especially hehehe..penangan nasik kandar?) kitaorg decided it's time to go back to kedah.

there goes cuti awal muharram. Anne & i sampai umah @ 7pm. 

p/s: i wrote this loooong time ago.. yet the internet connection is very lembab so i  keep it as draft.. huhu~ bila dah lama..dah lemau, post jugak je la kan.. huhu~
