Regional Training of Trainers for Groundwater Management in IWRM

ok. gonna write this just a lil bit..

groundwater..interesting. but this is workshop.. and in tentative given stated that there's group discussion & presentation.. i was like adoi sgt2.. why? because groundwater is not widely use in kedah nor in my curent job scope...so i have very little knowledge about it. 

then i know that despite kelantan, selangor too make use of their groundwater.. and there's quite a number of tube well in kedah-i have no idea where but there are some groundwater extractions going on without me knowing it. lack of concern i guess... but there is a water resource section in jps kedah for a reason. and i'm not in it. so i just get whatever i need to know from them.

this workshop has several presentations from asean countries - thailand, indonesia, vietnam, lao, timor leste and cambodia. so they are sharing knowledge about the groundwater usage in their country. while some has been more developed in groundwater management & usage, one other is more like... just formed their country, and in water resource department...there's only 1 guy that do the whole water job thingy for his country! phew....

well.. this thing is indeed intresting. but what's more intresting is when there's site visit on the 3rd day.. and since few participants are not going to go along with the trip, i bring along my sister who have no reason what so ever to be involved in this workshop! huhuh..why? because they planned to take the rombongan to putrajaya.. (they are entertaining the foreigners..taking them to places of interest in kl almost every night)

(i've never been to putrajata. that's why i'm a tiny-wee too excited bout the trip! and with the 'help' of my sister..the trip will of kos be more fun..)

kitaorg g Megasteel.. nama pon tau, buat steel lah apa lagi kan.. kilang nie ialah pengguna groundwater terbesar kat selangor. depa extract 6 mgd air bwh tanah utk kegunaan production derang. yg best nyer.. kilang derang nie situated kat tempat yg mcm basin kat bwh tanah.. air yg extracted and recover balik dlm masa beberapa minit je. nie boleh tau dgn wat pumping & recovery test kat well yg ada. kilang nie mmg bergantung pada air bwh tanah.. and they indeed know, over extraction bukan je leh melumpuhkan kilang derang nyer productionm tp silap hari bulan sinking terus kilang tuh.. dan kalau ada intrusion dari laut pon tak best gak.. garam + besi = karat kot! hahaha.. tp derang dah wat geohydro study dah.. kawasan nie mampu supply 10mgd of water cumanya LUAS bagi 6 je. kiranya, dah comply to langkah berjaga2 lah kan..lupa lak..kilang nie kat area sungai langat rasanya..hehehe..tak ingat pulak. ingat menda teknikal je nie.. hehee...

mmg sgt mengantuk dlm bas.. lepas sudah je makan kat kantin megasteel nie, aku lena sedap je sampai putrajaya. hehehe.. sampai je putrajaya, depa stop kat jambatan cantik. rupanya driver bas nak g membuang. tp tempat tuh pon leh amik gmbar..

owh.. tp terlupa lak nak "abadi" kan kenangan yg satu nie.. that morning nak g site visit nyer, aku agak lamat bersiap. maklum lah slalu aku sorg je mandi2 and g workshop.. kali nie jaja pon ikut. skali terkalut2 drive ke jps ampang.. aku dgn selambanya x stop time lampu merah padahal dah nampak polis, bandaraya & jpj wat road block kat jln sultan ismail tuh. adehhhh..ingatkan beri laluan. tp kat kl takde beri laluan sgt kot. tak pasal2 pulak melayang $$$. rugi2. that's my very 1st saman since i get my driving lisence. owh..arituh bw keta anne pon kena saman laju kat hiway.. cisss.. tp yg tuh lain. guna camera bukan kena tahan. layaannn je lah!

sepanjang aku kat kl nie..mmg jejalan je lah keje. dari awal tiba kat kl..dah g midvalley sampai kul 10 lebey..esok tuh, right after workshop @ 5, terus g e curve & ikea-makan meatball & kek daim of kos.. then g klcc..fave spot..tp sebab lemau pon ada. huhu...dah berhari2 berjalan2.. last day g klcc lagi skali ntuk makan2.. then g berjaya times square- best nie. sbb aku shop23. hehee..owh. aku ske kl. tp aku agak boros.. so mmg ptt lah Allah bagi aku keje kat kedah! hahhaha
